About Dun Huang Noodles
Located at 180 River Dr N, Jersey City, NJ 07310, Dun Huang Noodles operates as a chinese noodle serving Jersey City in New Jersey. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ9:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Dun Huang Noodles at (201) 322-0888; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, dhnoodle.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 758 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinese noodle in Jersey City and suggests consistent service.
Jersey City is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Jersey City follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I came here for the first time and honestly food did not disappoint me . When I got the cheque I was in a hurry and I signed the tablet without adding tip . Then the waiter rushed me asking for a tip and Wts weird is he told that the restaurant dosent pay dem salary and they have to rely only on the tips I mean y would any restruant do that and later I did tip dem and he offered me a free coke which I anyways denied and he was insisting me to take in meanwhile the glass of water on the table spilled on my trousers which was really embarrassing I never faces anything like this in the usa . I request the restaurant to pay dem the basic salary according to NJ rules. This is really pathetic

This is a solid, dependable bowl of beef noodles that hits the spot if you are looking for a comforting, no-fuss meal. The broth is the highlight hereβitβs savory and warm, with a nice hint of warming spices that gives it some depth without overwhelming your palate. The beef is cooked well enough to be tender, and they give you a decent portion of it distributed throughout the bowl. As for the noodles, they have a pleasant chew to them, though they could have been just a touch firmer. It might not be the most mind-blowing or intensely flavorful bowl of noodles you'll ever have, but itβs hearty, satisfying, and exactly the kind of comfort food you want on a casual weeknight. Iβd happily order it again when I'm in the mood for something simple and reliable.

We had lunch here often even though it was a bit of a hike for us from DTJC. Manager William always greeted us with a big welcoming smile. He is one of the reasons that we visited often. For appetizers, we liked the Lamb kebab and Pork leek & shrimp dumplings. The dumpling wrappers and filling tasted homemade and fresh. Loved their hand pulled noodles. We have tried the Pan fried noodles, LanZhou beef noodles soup, Braised beef noodles soup, Zha Jiang noodles, and Big plate chicken. All very good.
